Photo365: Day 32
*
July 8, 2011: For camp today, we went on a field trip to the Nasher Sculpture Center (see pictures above). I think the kids found the main exhibit boring, but they loved Martin Creed’s Balloon Exhibit, which was essentially a square room filled entirely with over 9,000 balloons. I was very surprised at how well ventilated the area was, and the kids really enjoyed it as well. After heading back to camp, we worked with some different torches, cutting the metal, as well as with a grinder, which was a huge power tool to polish the metal. On my way home, I stopped by Hobby Lobby and Michael’s (their card decorating class looked cool, see picture above) to get all my baking supplies for my cake decorating class. We went out a little later to get some dinner from Taco Bell (and I refilled our stash of their taco sauce :)).
